Citylights is a bunch of four dudes living up to the ideals of „dirt & rock’n’roll.“ – yes, hide ya kids, hide ya wife !!! The spoiled rock’n’roll attitude hardly comes as a surprise given that all members are ‘sons’ of the rural outskirts of Prague, places drenched in drug-dealing business to the bone. The band has formed in September 2009 and after several months of booze fueled rehearsals at bass player’s shed in his backyard decided to record a two song EP entitled “Dickcheese” which saw light in early 2010. The moment the EP went out, the band decided it was just about the time to prove themselves as a live act. From the most horrid squat holes through the notoriously known clubs and bars – the band is just dead serious about kicking lazy asses wherever there’s electricity. After joining a brief yet essential tour across Slovakia in February 2011, the band decided to hit the studio and let their creative juices flow through walls of amps, mics and drumkits again. In June 2011, the single “Paper Anchor” is released along with band’s first official video. Their plan for 2012 is to finally record a debut LP and tour their fucking skins off abroad.
